After all, HLTB says it should only take about 2 hours to beat on average right? Nope, took me 5 hours, and this was with using the A + Start trick to be able to continue from the beginning of the current world. I was already getting a tiny bit flustered by this, so I figured I'd try an 'easier' game like the original Super Mario Bros. Then I played Castlevania 3, which HLTB says would take 4 hours to beat or 13 hours to 'complete' (which I assume means beat it once for each possible support character?) - it took me ~6 hours per run for a total of ~18 hours.

Cool game for the record, great soundtrack. I played Castlevania for the first time, which according to HLTB should take 3 hours to beat on average and yet it took me twice that.

Recently I got into emulating old console games, as I grew up in a poor country where PC was king and piracy was rampant. I'm rarely the meandering type, and I don't think I'm too bad at most games (in fact I used to be pretty good at Quake and StarCraft back in the day).
